A Tribute to My Mother Margaret Mae Halverson

It has been 20 years since Mom has passed away.

When I long to hear her voice I get out the tape she made talking about her life growing up. I am so glad my sister Robin got her to do the tape.

My Mother was a very private person and she would say to her girls "you need to have a little reticence" or "if you behave as good you look, you will be fine."

We could always tell what she was thinking by the look on her face. Her ice blue eyes would almost turn black if she was displeased or angry. She had six children who loved her.

I know that when I hear someone speaking ill about their mother I feel sorry for them because I loved my Mom.
