An Alaskan Memory
It was the fall of 1969 when Mom and I drove up to Fairbanks. She was to visit my sister Kathy and I was in my 2nd year of college at UAF. We had a beautiful day and we had just passed Paxon and were going through the pass. It was glorious, a cerulean blue sky and yellow/gold leaves on the trees. Mom was driving and she kept saying what a beautiful day. Well she seemed to be sightseeing so I suggested that I drive so she could enjoy the view. She agreed. We had a wonderful trip that day.
