I had seen the Blue Angels perform at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska over 20 years ago. It was a quite a display as one plane upside down passed under another plane right side up going opposite ways over the runway. It seemed like they were only 15 feet off the ground. Seeing the Blue Angels was a peak experience in my life.
